ATTENTION ALL NON VOTERS !

T

Fed up with politics and politicians?  Think they’re all the same?  Doesn’t matter who you vote for they’re all out for themselves! Join the club!

The majority of people do not vote anymore because they think it’s a waste of time. !!!!!!!!!

Ever since the disastrous referendum of 1975 when the majority were ‘conned’ into joining 'Europe', this country has been on a downward slope.

In the 1990s UKIP was formed with the sole aim of getting the UK out of Europe, now it has expanded its aims and includes policies that this country needs to set Britain free and to govern it as you, the people, want it governed.

Ask your friends in the bars, pubs and streets about their thoughts on politics and what is needed, every time they will tell you ideas that exactly match UKIP policies. Ask them why they don’t vote for UKIP and the answer will be the same ‘ I would, but they don’t stand a chance’

BUT If everyone that said this did indeed vote for UKIP and our policies, then UKIP would not only stand a chance but we would win

“For evil to triumph it is only necessary for good men to do nothing”

Now is your chance to stop the 'evil' of our present politicians – be one of the good men/women do something –go out and vote,  and vote UKIP... let’s get Britain back from Brussels! It can be done and together we can do it.

I say again ...... The majority of people do not vote anymore because they think it’s a waste of time. !!!!!!!!!  and then have the gall to afterwards MOAN to each other about the state of the country !!!!!.

Let us be quite clear, this election is vitally important to the citizens of the UK. There is no such thing as a 'wasted' vote and the choice is simple — if you are satisfied with the UK's relationship with the EU you can vote Labour, Liberal Democrat or Conservative, it doesn't matter which, since all three of the major parties are committed to the status quo.

It will not be any-skin-off-your-nose, by not voting for your 'usual (or no) party' in this election.....  So Just do it...  if for no other reason than 'revenge'  for what 'they' have done to us, and our country...  and what better than to watch the 'fun & fireworks' amongst the 'other' three pro EU parties,' afterwards, as the results come in.

UKIP is the fourth largest party in the UK....bigger than ALL the 'other smaller parties' put together, such as the 'greens' and b.n.p. put together.

In Reply to Torbay Conservative PPC Marcus Wood's Herald Express letter Thursday, November 12, 2009, 09:18  (Titled 'Why voters should support Eurosceptic Tories at election')

Believe-you-me UKIP knew the 'worth' of David Cameron's referendum 'promise' . We totally agree with you Marcus, on those carefully crafted words of what he actually DID say !!!  However UKIP NEVER did fall for his deceitful wording of it, and we said so often. The 'Eurosceptic' members of the Conservative party (and the others) were given 'HOPE' that he would do 'right by them' all, because he implied that's what he would do, can you not see that. Cameron PURPOSELY slanted his 'promise', and 'deceive' he did.  Andrew Marr thought so too in this BBC interview with Cameron http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CAIckO1GeE where incredulous Marr tries (and fails) to get him to give a 'straight' answer about it. But yes I too personaly blame Labour more, as they had this as a manifesto pledge that people voted them in on !!!

In 1975, we did not vote for the EU. We voted for the Common Market and have since been tricked (deceived)  into the EU. There was no referendum to enter the EU.  The EU did not exist until the Treaty of Maastricht in 1993.  We entered the EEC (which politicians in this country chose to call the Common Market, suggesting (deceiving us) that we were simply entering into a free trade agreement) in 1973 without a referendum.  .(but in any case no-one in the uk under the age of 54 has had any say whatsoever)

The referendum in 1975 was on whether or not we should stay in Since then, both Labour and Conservative governments have given away the power of the UK to govern itself.

From the dictionary
\Trea"son\, n. a giving up, a delivering up, fr. tradere to give up, betray. See Traitor,

of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power;

disloyalty; treachery a crime that undermines the offender's government [syn:

No Conservative, (or other), Government can unilaterally change the provisions of the Lisbon treaty. It needs agreement by all 27 of the EUs constituent nations. And to imply otherwise is also deceitful ! ...and we would have to give two years notice, during which presumably the EU would make things as difficult for us as possible.

Those Conservative voters did not "lend" us their votes in June. They gave them to us because they do not trust the Conservative leaders on the EU. Subsequent events have proved them correct in their assumption. Also, those votes are not the property of the Conservative party to give. They belong to independent Britons who are free, (at the moment), to vote for whomsoever they choose.

When the BBC asked in a poll in March this year if Britain should leave the EU but maintain close trading links, 55% agreed with 41% disagreeing.
When asked if the British people should decide in a vote before Britain transfers any further power to the European Union 84% agreed, with 13% against.

and some polls show 55 to 80 percent with one recent poll showing 95 % wanting out.

David Cameron has apparently now said that he will not ratify any more treaties which transfer power from Britain to the EU.  Unfortunately, he is being disingenuous because there will never be another treaty.  The Lisbon Treaty is the last treaty there will ever be because it is self-amending.  That means that the leaders in the EU will be able to extend their powers simply by amending the Lisbon Treaty and they will be able to do this by Qualified Majority Voting.  This means that we no longer have any power and that Mr Cameron is either a fool or a deceiver.  Let the voters decide which it is.  Either way, is he a desirable leader to want to vote  'in'.

Some of you might remember the episode of "Steptoe & Son" where they divided the house between them but had only one TV.  So they placed it on the boundary line agreeing that each would have the choice what to watch on alternate days.  On one of the son's evenings he had chosen the opera.  The father got up from his chair and pressed the button on the TV to switch to a comedy programme.  The son remonstrated with his father and said :

"But it's my turn !  I've got right on my side !"  To which the father replied : "But I've got the knobs on MY side  !"

In other words, forget the Lisbon Treaty.  We just tell the EU we are out - we've got the knobs on our side.

Only UKIP will do this.  You have got to ask yourselves why the 'EU sceptic' Cameron will NOT.

One of the most constructive things we can do for the economy is to cut the amount of money being paid into the EU.  The Conservatives have no intention of making any such cut;  in fact there is reason to suppose that they are likely to increase our "contribution", or rather have an increase imposed upon them.

UKIP's policy on this matter is to reduce our contribution to the European Union by something in the region of £45million EVERY DAY (i.e. cut it out altogether) and we believe that this alone will be a huge boost to the British economy. UKIP have only ever told-it-as-it-was about the EU, sometimes the truth was so unpalatable that people decried 'the messenger' rather than look at the message. for instance we said years ago that an EU directive would close our post offices, and look what happened !

It does not matter to UKIP Who is in 'government'... They are ALL pro-EU !!!  It makes little sense to say that one party is a bit LESS pro EU, than a MORE pro EU one...

Its like saying 'you are only a little bit pregnant' !

UKIP want to restore 'power'to our own government,  with elected governments that carries out the will of the people (not the other way round). We don't want  puppets of the unelected EU...

and to have free trade with whoever we want., In order to stand a chance to achive this we need UKIP MP's in westminster... I ask people to think hard on this fact

I stand by what I said, in my original letter, disenfranchised members of the other parties will be welcomed in UKIP, and your respective parties only have themselves to blame.

Ian Walsh (Torbay UKIP Vice Chairman

'Another brick in the wall'.

According to the EU !!! ... the EU has 'kept the peace' in Europe for some 60 years.

This statement has become so widespread that it gets taught in schools, and is now accepted 'as fact' (particularly by younger people). But it is not true.  The 'founders' of what has become the EU MIGHT have had this in mind for a long term aim (or something else) who knows?...   however in the case of the UK 'joining', this aspect was not even mentioned....

In the early 1970's when our government joined what was then the 'common market' (without asking WE the people if WE wanted to join), the 'market economy' was cited as reason !!!.

In 1975. Because of 'disquiet' from 'we the people' about the government taking us 'in' without asking us, we had a referendum on whether we should stay in or come out.  This is the ONLY time* in the subsequent 33 years, that the peoples of the UK have been asked anything AT ALL on this subject. (This means that NO-ONE in the UK under the age of 53 has had any say at all in joining what would eventually become the EU).

The People of the UK were mislead in the run up to the 1975 referendum with false government/yes campaign claims e.g.. 'we are in now so we might as well stay in...to get out will cost YOU the taxpayer XXXX ££££'s' and 'this will NEVER lead to a European super state' !!!!   So the people voted to stay in !!! . (though its hard to find anyone today who will admit that they did)

Most voted yes because they believed in the principle of a 'Common Market'  However, if the ballot paper had said "Do you support the principal of a European super state with many national powers handed over the bureaucrats in Brussels?" I think the result would be a little different.

With hindsight... and the recent release of 'secret' government papers under the '30 year rule'  the government KNEW where this was going.... and in those papers are words to the effect of " This WILL lead to a future European federal state but the people of this country will never stand for that, so we must do this by stealth and subterfuge over the next 30 years or so ' .........  The lying conniving........

It was NATO and the presence of the USA in Europe and NUKES, that  kept the Peace for most of the "60 years"...  not the EU, it did not even Exist then....

For nearly all that time, (over 30 years) the government', have been telling us that first the 'common market' then the E.E.C. European economic community then the EU was about TRADE only...   How can a load of 'traders' keep the peace ???.... (and nothing was mentioned at all from beyond the 'closed doors' of the 'founders' during the first 30 years (stealth and subterfuge remember) yet they say they have kept the peace for 60 years ! .... this is the EU at its best, re-writing history the way they want people to 'remember' it.

"He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future."
  --  George Orwell

All this has been kept from the people so effectively that only over the past few years has the light started to dawn here in the UK, that the EU is about a single party system of government (that most resembles the Soviet union) to be foisted on a reluctant population. Some 75 -80 %.would vote No in the uk according to poll after poll, this is why the Irish vote is taken here as a proxy for the rest of us who will not even be given the chance to say NO...........

* In 2004 the people of the 'North East region' of the UK were given a referendum on the EU regional assemblies http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3984387.stm  and the people said NO...but in true EU style the EU said 'we don't like that answer so you are going to have one anyway'...  and so it was.   (EU region=divide and conquer)

 'Another brick in the wall'.

We British are probably the most 'EU sceptic' in the EU.

With some 70 -80 % of the population wanting out of the EU altogether... never mind a referendum on the poxy constitution.

But the three main parties are puppets of the EU, so no matter who we vote into British 'government', we still get a government bent on giving our sovereignty away to an un-elected, un-accountable, above the law, SINGLE party state, that most resembles the old soviet union. And we Brits pay the EU to the tune of £150,000 per Minute*, for the privilege of seeing our post offices closed our fishing fleet etc, decimated by the EU.

What to do about it ??? Well you can fight for this country just as I am....

Several years ago I joined UKIP  (United Kingdom Independence Party, the Uk's 4th largest party) and for our size, we are the BIG thorn in the side of the 'other three'.

We would likely be even deeper in the EU (with the Euro etc) than we are now, were it not for UKIP.

Rage, rage, don't go quietly into the night... DO something about it.

* yes you read that right !

'Another brick in the wall'.

POST OFFICE CLOSURES AND THE EU

In the late 1990s, the EU  opened up all European postal services to competition... without telling us, or asking us if we wanted it  (in true EU style !!). The process started with Article 88 of the Amsterdam Treaty signed by  John Major in 1997, and has proceeded through three EU Directives in 1997, 2002 and 2008.

In breaking up national monopolies, the EU also restricted the amount available to subsidise the smaller Post Office networks (due to the profitable areas of the royal mail being sold off, in our case to £150 million a year), although they knew that it would mean that thousands would have to close.

As the EU has consistently ignored all protests (and for sure don't like the word NO). There is no hope of saving our Post Office's while our politicians continue to obey their EU masters.

BY Christopher Booker, Daily telegraph 18/5/08

The damage done to our postal service by EU rules gets worse. Last week I wrote about the Government report warning that our "universal postal service" is at risk because, under EU postal services directives, Royal Mail has lost the most lucrative part of its business to 19 private companies, turning its hefty profits into a £279 million loss.

Now we learn that 3,000 more post offices may have to close, if the £1 billion-a-year contract to handle pensions and benefits payments goes to a rival company under EU procurement directives that require such public contracts to be put out to tender.

Under the same rules, the Post Office has already lost contracts worth £168 million a year for handling television and driving licences, which is why it now needs £150 million a year from the taxpayer to survive. Even this much state support had to be pleaded for in Brussels by the Government, as we can see from a European Commission letter of last November, graciously permitting it to pay this subsidy under EU "state aid" rules.

First the EU orders us to sell off all the bits of our postal service that make a profit. Then we have to go to Brussels on bended knee for permission to subsidise the resulting losses. It is hardly surprising that our postal regulator, Postcomm, was last week proposing that Royal Mail should be partly privatised, as the only way to get round these "state aid" rules. But who would want to buy shares in a business that the EU is doing its utmost to ensure can only be run at a loss?

WHY YOUR 'WASTE' COSTS YOU MORE & MORE

"The 1999 EU Directive on Landfill has had a great effect on how we manage waste
EU directives now require Member States to introduce legislation on waste collection, The EU Landfill Directive requires a 25% reduction on 1995 levels by 2010, and a 65% cut by 2020.
The restrictions on garbage collection is due to the charge being made by the Government in Brussels/Strasbourg charging British local Councils a "Tipping Charge". This means that everytime a refuse vehicle tips in a land fill site, a large cost comes in to your local council. But the trouble is that the present policy does not suit the UK. It began as an EU directive restricting the use of landfill sites and insisting on incinerating rubbish instead.

That is hugely disadvantageous to Britain, which has few incinerators but enough landfill options to last for years,so the councils are taking legal action and imposing fines on home owners so as to meet EU directives, Or else the council will be fined by the EU."

October 28 2008....UK Climate Bill: 80% Commitment, Zero Effect on Climate

The Germans have expressed doubts about it, the Italians have threatened to veto it, much of Eastern Europe is against it but – predictably – the British government has fallen into line behind Brussels on the EU's ludicrous and unachievable scheme to "fight climate change."

28th October 2008 will go down in history as ‘carbon fools day,’ a sad day for democracy and science, a day when opposition parties failed to challenge a dangerously unsound policy, devoid of any real scientific basis, without any hope of influencing climate change. Ironically, it was also a day when London saw the first October snow since 1934.

These ‘carbon fools,’ who are allowing the unjustified demonization of CO2 to be used as a weapon against prosperity, energy security and mobility, have committed the UK to an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050, without any mapped out strategy of how it will be achieved. Advice on that task falls to yet another expensive QUANGO, loaded with ‘Green Alliance’ members, namely the ‘Committee on Climate Change.’

(By coincidence, 28th October 1971 was the day that MPs voted for us to join that other expensive, bureaucratic nightmare – the EEC, now the EU.)

Climate Change Bill makes chilling reading

"Last Tuesday MPs spent yet another six hours discussing what is potentially the most expensive single piece of legislation ever put through Parliament.

The Climate Change Bill, which had its third reading, commits Britain (uniquely in the world) to an 80 per cent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.

If the Bill's intent is taken seriously, the cost of cutting our CO2 emissions by 80 per cent would cripple our economy, closing down much of what remains of our industry and rendering most motorised transport impossible.

But the cloud cuckoo land that our politicians have floated off into no longer touches scientific or practical reality at any point.

What they should have been discussing was the near-certainty that, within a few years, thanks to the imminent shutdown of 40 per cent of our electricity generating capacity, Britain's lights will be going out.

Declining global temperatures continue to make a mockery of those computer model projections on which the whole global warming scare is based."

Well... where to start.

I have said this before elsewhere, but I'll say again, I believe in climate change. The climate changes that's what it does !!!!

Lets pick up on a few points that AGW'ers makes.

# That the Ice caps are melting....
Well yes they have been melting for some 12,000 years since the worlds temperature rose when bringing about the onset of the current interglacial period (Holocene )
period that we live in. Some of other previous glacial periods (each lasting some 90,000 years) upon reaching the end of their interglacial's
were warmer than 'now' and the ice caps smaller to non existent. So if we continue to follow the same 'Natural pattern' (no cars back then)
the poles may well become 'Ice free'.  And as we are now near the end of 'our' interglacial in the long term, we are in for some  90,000 years of miles thick Ice.
Though the Antarctic ice is NOT currently melting ! and over the past 30 years has been gaining ice mass*! according to NASA, so the good news is the end of the current interglacial (in human terms) is a way off yet. *Within 'our' Holocene interglacial there have been many times when the temperature have rose and fell.

, # Sea level rise...As the Antarctic is not generally currently 'melting' and what little melt there may be, is very likely accounted for by the recent discovery of an hitherto unknown active volcano under the ice http://wattsupwiththat.com/2008/01/22/surprise-theres-an-active-volcano-under-antarctic-ice/  .  And... "the vast majority of Antarctica has cooled over the past 50 years and ice coverage has grown to record levels since Satellite monitoring began in the 1970s",  http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/56731

As to the Arctic (north pole) the ice is floating (sea ice) so even if it were all to melt it would not raise the sea level. Therefore the sea level will not be tens of meters deep in some near future.

# that 400 Scientists accept the IPCC view...  (Actually 2500, is the figure usually 'quoted')
"Of the 2500 reviewers, only 62 reviewed the chapter in which this statement appears, the critical Chapter 9, “Understanding and Attributing Climate Change” http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/719

"A total of 308 reviewers commented on the SOR, but only 32 reviewers commented on more than three chapters and only five reviewers commented on all 11 chapters of the report. Only about half the reviewers commented on more than one chapter. It is logical that reviewers would generally limit their comments to their areas of expertise but it’s a far cry from the idea of thousands of scientists agreeing to anything." http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=7553

and here are 400 scientists who DO NOT support the IPCC view.

"Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore." http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.SenateReport

# That there are more 'storms' etc.

Well a 'warmer' world would generate fewer climate extremes, As the 'weather' is driven (via the sun) by the 'differential between cold and warm'. making 'the difference' smaller would produce fewer extremes.
a cooling world would produce a greater 'difference' so more 'extreme' weather.  Indeed by looking at the Data here http://members.iinet.net.au/~jacob/worldtp.html it can be seen that most  'extreme weather' took place before the recent  'warming period' took hold.

All this  AGW warming hysteria can be attributed mostly to the so called 'Hockystick Graph', which makes out 'now' as 'unprecedented'.  Before that graph, the fact that over the past 10,000 years of the current interglacial there had been periods that were warmer than now (and a lot colder) was not disputed. However to the shame of science the graph has been made to mislead!!!!
here is a better account of this than I could give ,http://www.ornery.org/cgi-bin/printer_friendly.cgi?page=/essays/warwatch/2007-03-04-1.html....

And again here http://bishophill.squarespace.com/blog/2008/8/11/caspar-and-the-jesus-paper.html

We are now at a time when the World, far from continuing to 'warm' is cooling...There has been NO global warming since 1998. This is a fact. Satellite data supports this. But the surface data does not.
See here http://science.nasa.gov/newhome/headlines/essd06oct97_1.htm   "unlike the surface-based temperatures,  (satellite) reveal no definitive warming trend over the past two decades. The slight trend that is in the data actually appears to be downward."

Why is this ???.  I and many, think that it is due in part to poor surface instrumentation and the 'urban heat island effect (UHI) ' where weather stations that have in some cases been there for nigh on a hundred years have 'recently' become surrounded by tarmac.concrete, buildings, and right next to air conditioners. Supposedly this UHI effect it 'allowed for, but is it ?????....... see here http://wattsupwiththat.com/category/weather_stations/

A recent  NASA news release ( 23 Sept 2008) had to say ....  see here....  http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2008/23sep_solarwind.htm

From the NASA release...
http://www.nasa.gov/home/hqnews/2008/sep/HQ_08241_Ulysses.html
Data from the Ulysses spacecraft, a joint NASA-European Space Agency mission, show the sun has reduced its output of solar wind to the lowest levels since accurate readings became available. The sun's current state could reduce the natural shielding that envelops our solar system. "Ulysses data indicate the solar wind's global pressure is the lowest we have seen since the beginning of the space age." "With the solar wind at an all-time low, there is an excellent chance the heliosphere will diminish in size and strength. If that occurs, more galactic cosmic rays will make it into the inner part of our solar system."

The above is  important because of work being done by Henrik Svensmark, of the Danish National Space Centre (Amongst others)   http://www.spacecenter.dk/research/sun-climate/cosmoclimatology/a-brief-summary-on-cosmoclimatology on the link between cosmic rays/solar wind/cloud cover/world temperatures/.  See here http://www.tmgnow.com/repository/global/CREC.html  and here http://www.tmgnow.com/repository/solar/lassen1.html

And a longer 'chain'....

Sunspots/magnetic fields/cosmicrays/cloud/albedo/ Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO)/warming/cooling........

All of this is important because the Solar Connection to the Earths Temperature fit much better then Co2 ...

Global warming and cooling have closely followed the phases of the PDO. The most significant pattern of PDO behaviour is a shift between “warm” and “cool” phases that last 20 to 30 years. In 1905, the PDO shifted to its “warm” phase. In 1946, the PDO changed to its “cool” phase. In 1977, the PDO returned to its “warm” phase and produced the current warming. In 2007-8, the PDO turned cold again, so can we expect several decades of naturally-caused global cooling ?? .

The sun has gone very 'quiet' (As NASA has now said), and quite a few solar astronomers are concerned that the sun may be entering a new 'low' period of activity (grand minimum) which may last a long time.
The sun went quiet during the 'maunder' solar minimum. This was during a period known as the little Ice age (LIA) starting some 400 years ago tail ending about 1850. (1850 is the year AGW'ers start their warming graphs from ! ) Over the past 10000 years (since the last Ice age proper), there have been many times when the temperature was lower than now and times when it was at least as high if not higher. This was obviously not caused  by Co2...( no cars back then).

So whatever mechanism caused these climate changes is 'natural ' and so is still there, 'lurking' in the background. If this does happen ( and some think it has already started ) It will be a disaster far greater than the worst warming predictions.

Some scientists are predicting that this cooling will be severe, and is a greater threat to humanity than global warming ever was. Meanwhile, politicians are still obsessing about global warming.

IF the Sun is indeed to the main factor in Global warming (and cooling)...and IF we were heading for another cold period then removing  Co2 from the atmosphere (at great cost) could therefore make things worse. We can live with warm. ...but millions may suffer and die if we  get years/decades of extended cold...all forms of transport snowed to a halt, power/gas outages, crop failures, food/water shortages, disease, and maybe war ...not good!! ....

William Herschel (astronomer) In 1801 noted that when there are few spots on the sun the price of wheat goes up....

Well the price of wheat has gone up..and so has the price of lots of other foods, and there have been food riots in some 25 countries recently. Millions of tons of food have been destroyed by cold/frost... See here  http://www.investmentmarkets.co.uk/20070912-841.html  .... perhaps we are "all Doomed" after all...not by climate, but by the Politicos and the 'self interest' of some climate scientists, who will both greatly regret their actions in years to come.

Because we needed POWER STATIONS to keep warm and they denied them to us by prattling on about 'Global Warming'... when all along what we had was CLIMATE CHANGE !!!!!!!!!!

GONE FISHING

One of the greatest betrayals on joining the EEC in 1973 was the total betrayal of the British fishing industry. The UK Independence Party (UKIP) is the only party with the opportunity to restore British fishing to its former glory, to bring a nutritious meal back on to the tables, and contribute to the UK’s economy substantially once again.   Read our policy statement

"it was a criminal offence under quota rules for him to land more than "50 kilograms" in a month, he had been forced to dump his entire catch dead back into the sea"

After living for 25 years with the ever-increasing lunacies of the EU's Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), as interpreted and enforced by ever more high-handed British officials, Mick's patience had finally snapped. Like every other fisherman in Britain, nothing enraged him more than the obscenity of the quota rules which force them every year to "discard" hundreds of thousands of tons of saleable fish to feed the seagulls.

A fisherman who waived the rules
